An update on the “pudding and a movie” situation - which was the original motivation for this site.

Pudding #5

Lemon a la rich slice.. A recipe from Golden Bay - “wholemeal cafe”..

***** 5 stars for taste ..but for richness well in the immortal words of Homer (no, not that Homer) “grrghhhhhlllllhhhghghdhh” , so coming in under the 5 stars really.

Now as for the movie - well a Pudding&AMoviee nights have fallen on somewhat hard times movie wise - meaning we got lazy.

We had Blakes7 original series for this night. 50 % of the audience fell asleep (though the other half were rockin’ to the retro styling). But not a proper movie. All in all, it was bad, in fact, really bad. Lets give it a star * - a single star. But a retro styly star.

**** 4 stars for this one but Trev reckins its a 4 and a half.

As for the movie - well see above. No decent movies were in the offing so someone whacked on BattleStar Galactica (the new series). Tragically, despite the fact that this new series completely rocks there were some people who couldn’t get past Starbuck as a woman and others that didn’t notice cause they were half asleep.

Anyway - lesson learned. Proper movies from now on.
